Thread: Combining multiple auction wins/ Adjusting Invoices

  1. #1

Question Combining multiple auction wins/ Adjusting Invoices

I have sold a few items to one person, and when I send the invoice, I can only adjust the shipping, by applying a discount, this really can confuse the buyer , and can create a hesitation to being a return repeat buyer. Is their anyway of making these combined items in an invoice easier to do ?

You can add or deduct amounts from the "auction total" and the "shipping total".

Will you be adding a combine purchases any time soon?

While it is separate, it could bring up issues for anyone that wanted to be clever and make use of distant selling regulations for those that sell BIN

The invoice system makes combining multiple purchases by the same buyer difficult. I have yet to hear a good explanation for why the buyer is asked to choose a shipping method for each and every separate item they buy when the purpose of the combined invoice is to COMBINE items that will be shipped together. They don't do it like that on the other other popular auction site, and their invoice system works fine. There are other problems with the invoice system, and the subject has been discussed most recently in the following threads:

We've been asking this for a long time. Hopefully whenever the update comes around, the invoice system will be more 'user' friendly.

I find the HELP topics answers most questions - type a basic question and down comes a list of all the Forums from the past - very helpful.

I don't do 'Shipping Discounts' -- I just ship everything at cost (inc P&P)

So called shipping discounts can work out far and above actual costs.
