I hope this place will remain peaceful and fun, and never will it turn into the immoral, backstabber ebay that punishes sellers who have built them to become the big online giant that it is today. I also hope you will expand into Germany and other European countries soon because MANY buyers come from that area. They will bring great traffic!

THanks for the welcome guys :-) Oh LOL "Deutschland" is Germany I didn't realize. Since Belgium is coming up, do I have to go back to all my auctions and revise them? I will be having ALOT of auctions!

Belgium is coming with the new design for the eBid website we understand (whenever that arrives) - so I expect there will be changes we will all have to make to our listings at that time - something I am certainly a bit apprehensive about - but at least we will all be in the same boat at the same time and can help each other!!

Yep, and eBid doesn't charge you extra to be on their other sites in other countries, unlike EvilBay who just want to rob as much of your profit as possible leaving you with nothing to reinvest, one major reason I left EvilBay, but then they want me to pay extra to be on the American and Australian sites! Nope, not for me. I now only keep ONE listing on EvilBay, just to keep a presence, with a nice advertisement on the listing about the stock I have here on eBid which most items are cheaper than my competitor non-shops on eBay along with much cheaper postage costs than them too.

My monthly fees on eBid for this past month: £0.79p

If I had a shop on EvilBay for the same period: £125.00 (give or take, based on listing fees for amount of items I'd have listed and basic shop subscription)

And I'm selling more on eBid than I ever did on EvilBay, go figure lol! But hey, if buyers want to pay £9.99 or £15.00 + P&P for a figure on EvilBay that I'm selling on here for £7.49 + P&P, then that's their mistake that they'll have to live with lol!

eBid has some great tools. One of them is the bulk edit. I've added countries to ALL our listings very quickly. Of course, like anything new, it was a bit scary the first time, so I tested it on just a few. Worked like a charm, so I did it again on everything. If eBid adds Belgium, so will I.

I found out about it from someone on the forums. Typical. Ask for help if you need it, you'll get answers so fast you won't believe it.
