    Very creative translations!

I have some panels too. Made in 1950s, still in package, made in Spain. But too heavy to ship to UK I think. Sorry.

    Wikipedia:
Nisser is a lake in Norway. It is the 13th-largest lake in the nation by area with a surface area of 76.30 km², the 10th largest by volume at 7.19 km³, and the 13th deepest at 234 m. It is located in Nissedal municipality in Telemark county, and is Telemark’s largest lake. Part of the Arendal watershed, water enters from the discharge of Vråvatn, and its outlet is the Nisserelva river.
In 1914, a canal was constructed between Nisser (which is 246 m above sea level) and Vråvatn (which is 248 m above sea level). This makes it possible to travel the 50 km long stretch from Tveitsund to Vråliosen by boat.
The Norse form of the name was Nizir - probably from an older form *Niðsær. The meaning of the name is 'the lake (sær) of the river Nið (now Nidelva (Aust-Agder))'.

    Google search--Global classroom:
NISSER are small persons not taller than 2 ft. Many of them are much smaller. They are dressed in red and grey clothes and they all wear a red pointed hat. NISSER love rice pudding which we set out to them during Christmas time. If we forget they revenge themselves on us with the most terrible teasing.

So as I see it, a nisser is a large lake surrounded by mischevious little people.

    Love to all

Kind of nice, cream color with a 1950s green woven stripe. Weigh is right about 1 pound 10 ounces per panel, by airmail to UK, about $15.

I wonder if this means that these are small napkins/serviettes or what we call them in US, cocktail napkins? Nisson/nissan seems to mean small, so maybe in German it can refer to size of something?

I wonder if our stuff is just as hard for people speaking another language to figure out? Seems like good pictures would explain any item enough, even if you could not read must of title or description.
