Default Need a finished product category for crocheted items

    under Crafts-knitting and crochet-crochet-finished items-afghans
    under crafts-knitting and crochet-crochet-finished items-baby items
    under crafts-knitting and crochet-crochet-finished items-clothing items

    You could also do:

crafts-knitting and crochet-crochet-finished items-doiles so we have all the finished items in the same place.

    Thank you.

I would be in favor of the last one. Too many sub categories are confusing.

Good to have finished crochet items listed in crafts, but hopefully sellers listing here are indeed going to be selling brand new "I made it myself" crochet rather than grandma's. Vintage items of crochet belong in the antiques category where they have their own subcategory.

True; wonder if we can put a note on this that it has to be you made it?

Again, this is not a good time for proposing changes that are not life threatening.

All of us are listing like crazy to round out all the categories and provide buyers with a huge variety of items because we are now getting lots of shoppers. For sellers, that is a priority at this time. Sales are increasing, and everyone is getting busy.

Delta; has it ever occured to you that this is what we sell? and we would like to have people find our items? and why we would want to spend time listing them if people are not going to find them?

Am I missing the point here

There is already a category for hand made baby items:
    http://uk.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?typ...mo=subcategory

So it would make more (ergonomic) sense to have "hand made" added to the categories where it is missing, ie: womens clothing etc.

Most couture clothing is "hand made", but I wouldn't expect to see a category in the crafts section for it

    Just another point of view

    Look here for Crafty Bits

    Find the Beamish Bazaar here!

Not just a point of view but a statement of fact. Thank you. I do not use those categories much so was not aware it already existed. What you point out about handmade makes perfect sense. Those looking for a handmade sweater for a baby go the the baby section.

I suspect because these categories and subcategories do not mirror what feebay has, the OP is attempting to change us so that ebid does it "the right way" (the feebay way?).
