Thread: A busy but fun weekend.

  1. #1

Default A busy but fun weekend.

I had a busy day yesterday with my eldest grandson. I had borrowed a chain saw off a mate and have cut all my privets down to the ground, and cut two small trees down and trimmed a very large holly bush right back. My grandson worked hard and was a big help and I let him use the hedge trimmers which he loved. lol. We got a lot done but he was tired by bedtime and was out like a light. lol

Today my three daughters and three grandchildren will all be here for a few hours, so I've been up since 7am sorting out stuff around the house before they get here, my grandson is still in bed snoring. lol. I've got all the washing together ready to do and just need to strip the bed when my grandson wakes up and then I don't have much else to do today except have a laugh with my family. I might even get out for a walk this afternoon if the weather isn't too bad.

I hope everyone has had/is having a good weekend.

I've been looking round all the local carboots this weekend, I always find it amusing what some people put on e.g a half used bottle of shampoo....did they just raid their bathroom cabinets )

Yesterday was the Food & Drink Festival in Truro, which was good fun. Today I've been to a boot fair - nothing special in the book line but got a lovely little pink thing for BCC Pink Fridays starting next week (plug, plug ) and now it's time for brunch before watching the F1. I'll probably pop out for a stroll later if the weather stays this good.

have to admit a busy week has caught up with me and Pam... we woke up yesterday and just "couldn't be bothered" I'd like to say we have taken the weekend off but we haven't even really done that... we are both so lackered we haven't got the enegy to do anything... the most energetic thing I have done is stripped a small stamp album... Oh and changed a light bulb, even then I needed a rest once I had done it.

Whew! When I first glanced at this post, I thought it said "privates". You don't even want to know the weird thoughts that went through my mind!

    Love to all
