The MAIN Point being that those who can afford to Place every listing with a features View I.E USA people (Because its a damned site cheaper) WILL HAVE LISTINGS AT THE TOP OF THE PILE

It would only be cheaper for me, if someone were to gift me a pile of money in your currency, then I converted it to American smackers, then I would have a discretionary slush fund and could be the new incense queen......or something along those lines.
But if I'm coming up with my own funds, a dollar is still a dollar, and still something that I'm not willing to part with to rise to the top of my categories.
Sorry that you are up against a guy who is willing to pay for increased exposure, but I doubt that he has checked the currency exchange and feels like he is getting a great deal on the listing upgrade from that angle. I suppose he feels like he gets a great deal from the exposure, and the increased sales it brings.
Can any of your stock compete with his on an apples-to-apples basis? Would it be worth paying for featured listings with those items?
Wonder if he is selling to more Americans than you are, as his shipping would clearly be a better deal for those of us over yonder.
