Thread: Real dumb criminals

    Default Real dumb criminals

Stupid criminal moment in Milwaukee. Why us?

July 4, 5 we had a huge $50 million fire at a meat processing plant, Patrick Cudahy. Extensive damage, many people out of work. Plant was old so it was assumed it was wiring, etc. Fire was so intense it burned for two days and neighborhood was evacuated.

However, survellance cameras revealed a flare/rocket landing on roof and causing fire. It was traced to the house directly BEHIND plant. Straight shot. Police got a quick confession from some dope and his brother (in Amry no less) who fired a stolen military flare into the air, and lost track of it. Even the two day blaze, smoke, evacuation of neighborhood etc did not get them thinking maybe they did it.

And apparently it was a stolen miliary flare brought back in this guy's suitcase from California? Just gets better and better. Thank goodness no firefighters were injuried.

They did plead guilty, and might get just a few years in prison.

There are some dumb criminals, had to laugh when my son was telling me of an incident where he had detained someone, but they needed hospital treatment, so as he was sat there with them, this person decided to do a runner

He run straight to the automatic doors so fast that they never opened in time and he could'nt stop in time, so run straight into them and the force just few him back so he landed on the floor

my son said he was in stitches and even after a while this man see the funny side of it

Years ago, we had our house broken into. We got home apparently within a minute of when they broke down the door and went into the house. When we got home, the burglars, all four of them (young men in their late teens) came pouring out of the house. One got into his car and drove away, leaving the others to fend for themselves. Naturally we called the police right away. The three on foot were very soon seen RUNNING and this clue helped the police pick them up.

If they had just walked like other people, they wouldln't have stood out!

These heists in real life are never quite as slick as in the movies. Love that the guy ran into the door! Life lesson #1, if you are going to run, make sure you have a clear path out of the building/area. #2, make sure you have a dependable ride when breaking into a house.

Just heard today the one brother is getting ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine. That is all the law allows, which seems somewhat short since they caused $50 million in damages plus putting people out of work.

I love the excuses people make, espec in horrendous circumstances like this, they did not notice rocket hit anything (gee, look, a two day fire right behind our house, where did the rocket you fired go?).

At least in this case the mother called them two idiots. She was really mad they did this in her yard while she was out too! Am sick of parents protecting the kids.
