Don't be scared, go. I bet your hair doesn't smell and you'll feel so much better after a decent cut.

You don't have to mention the no-pooing, just ask for a dry cut like I did, it's a lot cheaper too.

My hairdresser just stuck her nose in my hair (there's a phrase you don't read very often) and assures me it does not smell at all. Not that I thought it did, but for Shezz's sake I thought I'd ask!

Still doing the no-poo (started 1 June) and really loving the room in my luggage where the bulky hair products used to be, now that we are traveling again. Facial moisturizer has also become a thing of the past.

I stopped using shampoo on my mom also, a few weeks into June. She used to experience "cradle cap" for which we occasionally used a prescription shampoo; in between I used baby shampoo. She also had terribly matted eyelashes and had an opthalmic ointment to prevent her eyelids from sticking shut. Both conditions have completely resolved since stopping the shampoo

Ruthie, what happened with the OH's henna experiments?

There's a lot more room on my bathroom shelves now.

Interesting that some-one else no longer uses facial moisturiser.

SLS definitely isn't natural, has been associated with being an irritant to some people, load of other stuff doesn't sound natural either.
