I just couldn't resist that one.

I suppose it was that channel 4 programme that made me have doubts about the people that buy them.
One was crafted to look like their grandson .I find that a little freaky

Now that, I have to admit would be freaky. I don't know anyone who has done anything like that.

i do like them-especially from the crafting angle- i can imagine the work that goes into them, hence the prices.
i'm sure somebody on this forum has mentioned owning one - babs i think.
i think from a tv programme i watched a while ago, some owners do like to treat them as a real baby- walks in fancy prams etc.

I am not sure what age that baby (doll) is supposed to be.
But going by the description, states that it wears clothes for a 0 - 3 month old baby.

My question is.....what is the oldest looking they could actually make these, without causing offence?
Would it be wrong to make them 1 year old? 3 years old? etc etc.

    Just curious

    No offence taken.
No idea if any are made older. Usually the 0-6 months.
They resemble what most of us would call the cuddly age of babies. LOL! before they become the little angels who talk and answer you back.

That is why the are called babies and not toddlers.

Now that is what I call OTT. I think I remember watching that program.

My OH would think I had gone nuts if I did something like that.

No I just collect dolls. Period.
