....as I said in my post, I received a 'Feedback Required' within a few hours of being paid for the items...so there are flaws there.
But the point is that you fail to grasp is that some sellers like me, simply do not want feedback reminders being sent for our transactions.
Yes we can "opt out" of receiving them, but we want to "opt out" of you sending them for our transactions. So far this has cost me at least 2 customers on here

...a simple question Gazza...why was this introduced in the first place?
...for whose benefit is this?... you said yourself that there is already in place a standard email that sellers can..IF THEY WISH...send to buyers requesting feedback if a seller requires feedback...
When this came in it was because someone requested it, although to date I've never heard anyone agree with eBid sending request.
To be fair to all I think
a) This feature should stay but.......
b) opt everyone out with the option to opt in but not opt everyone in with the option to opt out, but............
c) If feature is kept and everyone is auto opted in (which always annoys me no matter what it is) give everyone the option to opt out and put it in the newsletter

and as I have said, what ever the wording, it is putting peoples backs up and they are leaving the site.
I/you have "lost" 4 of my buyers from this site... and others have lost some of theirs... so what have you lost in fees.

You can do that and admin can continue to refuse to accommodate you. You have to phrase it correctly though. Once users cease suggesting and requesting changes and start demanding that eBid complies with their individual desires then the site is on a slippery slope.
By all means make a good case for a change but if you cannot win admin over on an issue within a reasonable time then graciously accept defeat, at least for the present, and let it lie. Maybe raise it again at a later date. There seems little point in continually badgering people when they are clearly reluctant. All that will do is antagonise them and, human nature being what it is, cause them to dig their heels in further. That risks spilling over into other areas and could lead to admin becoming less approachable and receptive to suggestions.
All the above is in general and not directed specifically at you Kim - even though it was your post I was responding to.
I liked things the way it was before, my buyers/my sellers feedback requests, my choice only.
