Thread: Phone manners

  1. #1

    Default Phone manners

Has anyone else noticed an increasing trend to finish phone calls with "bye, bye, bye, bye ..."?
Am I being terribly rude in only saying goodbye once?

You are lucky you ain't talking to a yank from the midwest. Many end conversations with the dopey term bye bye which sounds like "BUB BYE". Even we are scratching our heads about how bye bye got so warped.

    bye bye
