I added beaded bookmark to mine CE and I didn't request it. I think it's a subcategory of a category. What I'm trying to say is..there is bookmarks..I used that after selecting the parent category of 'books', let's say..then the category from that one is 'bookmarks'...from there I was able to type out 'beaded bookmarks.'
You choose the main eBid category for your store to be listed under eg books.
Then in each store you can create 30 categories of your choice with 15 sub-categories.![]()
Just an example:
I would select:
Parent Category: Movie & DVD
then it takes you to anther page where you select the sub category from a drop down box:
Blu Ray, DVD[Western] or HD DVD[Western]
from there you can add to your store another shoot off [no pun intended] from that sub category above and then you would be able to list a DVD under 'Clint Eastwood' if you wanted to.
This also has to be set up in your store prior to you actually opening up the store and adding whatever items you wanted to add.
Although you can just go ahead and post items without actually opening up your store for now.![]()
LOL Cheap and Cheerful could be I guess but for my store I chose that store type because I'm more like a general store ...for now.
Let's say all you will sell are movies and movie related items..then the store category would be one that falls under movies...
that is the store category
from there you begin adding to that store and you will need to select your 'parent categories'...such as Movie & DVD..then the sub: Blu Ray, HD, DVD, Reel, VHS...
and finally what I'm calling 'off shoots'
for example:
Clint Eastwood
Or something like you suggested:
Movies under $5
Movies under $1
you can update your store at any time my store is online and i just pressed the update button no probs, when you do open a store make sure its set to on line if no items are in your store after 12 hours it will go offline automaticly
