    Question Show both but separately?

Would it be a huge upheaval to show feedback as, say +22 (300), the figure in brackets being the imported. That way it is possible to both know that the person has done buying/selling before, but not all on eBid? Then if the mouse was hovered above one or other part of this the explanation "eBid feedback" or "imported feedback" could show up as an explanation.

    Just a thought!

We have no idea about who you could be talking about? [/QUOTE]

Have to confess I imported feedback. I was a small seller "over there" so it took a couple of years to get my 200+ and I didn't like the idea of having to start all over again here, especially when half my first few buyers didn't leave me any feedback. I genuinely thought it would reassure buyers about my honesty, reliability, etc to be able to read the comments from the other side.

I appreciate the point about a high feedback score hiding a possible lack of knowledge on the workings of Ebid and I really like Nostalgia's suggestion about the second figure in brackets.

I was glad to find out that there is an option of importing feedbacks. It shows, I believe, to my potential customers that we have a great record and they can trust us. There's a lot of fraud on the internet and feedbacks are the backbone of trust.

We currently have zero sells on here (our second day of presence) but it doesn't mean that we're less trustworthy than we are on the other site.

    Best regards

    Welcome to Ebid, Aik!

I did the same thing but then realized that I could have just a link to my e**y feedback. The feedback that is posted next to my username is now all Ebid and on my 'All about me' page is the repatoo link to my e**y feedback.

    Thanks, glad to expand here!

What I did at first was place my feedbacks from eBay on the avatar, but then removed it because I learned that any mention of that site is frowned upon here and angers some people. I suppose I could do it your way as well, but I don't think there's any harm in importing feedbacks, unless it actually makes people suspicious since the actual comments are not imported unfortunately.

No I don't think so either and I did it the same way you did[without the avatar though]. After a few weeks though I had Admin remove the e**y feedback and just kept the repatoo link so that anyone wanting to see my feedback from e**y could.

Can I suggest Aikcorp that you change yopur listings from Run until sold to say 10 days with 10 auto relists, else your items will always come at the bottom of searches. You may find a read of this thread helpful, as your items are expensive, not pro rata, but relative to a lot of other items on here I fear you may struggle a bit. The positive thing is it isn't costing an arm and a leg to keep listing.
