Offers for Buy it now

Hello,
We're a Powerseller on Ebay and have just registered here, paid to be Seller+ and are already putting up auctions. Your fees are great.

We have noticed a significant (at least for us) element missing - the "offer" for Buy it now. Can we expect to see it appear on eBid?

Another thing is that categories is sometimes awfully specific, for instance in jewelry instead of having "diamond ring", it gives many more specific options to narrow it down. It's understandable that many would prefer it this way, but it should also allow sellers to let the item stay in the general subcategory of the "diamond rings".

Noticed something else. It would be convenient if we could sort auctions by number of bids, apparently you're missing this option.

There is a Buy Now available. We have Starting Bid, Auction Reserve Price and Buy Now.

The showing of bids on auction listings was taken away by eBid. You can only view them in 'list' mode now.

As for categories, we have a New Category Suggestions forum where you can ask.

I asked about "BuyNow" with an offer option. It's very inconvenient that it's missing, or if it's not missing - we weren't able to locate it.

Yes, I've noticed that in "list" format you can see bids, but you cannot sort by them.

I don't think that the problem of categories can be solved by making even more of them, especially since this site isn't so congested it would make sense to reduce the number of categories. However, it's not that important, for now we're mainly concerned about the missing *offer* option from BuyItNow.

P.S. A bit confused here, is this forum where representatives of eBid reply, fellow traders, or both?

Usually it is members (sellers and buyers) who respond but occassionally we get the ebid management joining in.

As to the 'offer' request. Please read this forum, it's quite interesting.

The fact that you are a high status seller on that alternative site means nothing here. This isn't eBay and God forbid it ever gets that way. Have a look at eBid and what selling options are available. If you like what you see, have at 'er. But please don't make suggestions based on what that other site has. We don't care what they do at that other site.

Welcome to eBid - the fees are great for "power" or "ordinary" sellers alike on here.

We have noticed a significant (at least for us) element missing - the "offer" for Buy it now. Can we expect to see it appear on eBid?

Currently this isn't a feature available on eBid but it has been discussed ad infinitum.
