Hidden until the start time
No view one way or the other
Better yet... give the seller the option(click box)to have them show now or not till start.
Hmmm
Whooo Boy... another different ballfield. Blue is blue, brown is brown.
Not hard to understand, right.
Watching an auction is a BUYER option... I am talking about the seller option(to show or not).
Sometimes I can not resist typing to a thread, even though it usually falls on deaf eyes
I'd much prefer the listings that haven't started don't show until they burst into life or at least have the choice of keeping them 'hidden' until then.
I'm trying to return the the selling scene and have a heap of stuff to list. Several of the items are complimentary to each other and I'd like to be able to make sure they start around the same time as they may be more attractive to potential buyers that way.
I've been considering having another bash at the bulk lister but with the amount of tweaking I seem to need to do (silly old fingers!) I don't want all my glaring errors and formating foo-foos shown to all and sundry.
My issue with the bulk is that the listing I want to make are all individual / one-offs so converting the txt docs I have for each to contain a few bits of html would be so time consuming I'm not sure I'd gain much.
I've been playing about with a few DVD listings to get into the swing of things and find the start time very frustrating. It seems to do what it wants to, especially if an item needs a bit of tweaking before being accepted.
I can see merits to both options but on balance I think being hidden until start would be most useful most of the time. Of course to have the choice between the two when creating the listing would be the ideal.
