Lol! OH and myself just getting over the darn swine flu. It's not pleasant but like Hong Kong and asian Flu I have survived it. It is really like any other flu. High temp, aching top to toe, sore throat lungs not feeling good and generally feel very ill and absolutely NO energy..
I have been left with sinusitis and a terrible lethargy and lack of get up and go!

My advice is not to panic. Go to bed or drape yerself over sofa. (You really wont be able to do much else). Take whatever makes you feel marginally better, paracetamol etc. Drink lots of fluid.. eat whatever takes your fancy... to be honest your appetite will not be wonderful!
get a good book or fester in front of TV drift in and out of sleep.... the more you can sleep the better!

Then just ride it out. Three weeks on and we are still tired and have phlegmy coffs...spit out the pleghm don,t swallow it or you will end up being sick!

Sorry to be graphic there but I feel neccessary! If you get it you will know what I mean!

As for testing any meds... forget it....I know someone has to but I would rather it wasn't me...and unless I had some serious other medical probs I would rather just have the flu and leave it to my immune system to sort out

I probably would if I had swine flu, especially when the numbers are 7,447 confirmed cases and 4 dead in the uk

Went I went to grade school we all got a smallpox vaccine shot. I believe it helps build up the immune system to the disease. Maybe if you take it you will be more resistant if the strain mutates? I'm no disease expert. Might be worth doing some research on it.

I think there might be a part of "vaccine" you don't quite grasp?

Don't touch it with a 10-foot barge pole! The first swine flu vaccine, in 1933, left people with terrible side effects and killed many.
