Hiding your face

Hello everyone. I'm curious as to why we never see alot of regular posters showing their face on here. I'm like others and trade out my avatar from time to time with a picture of myself or my family coat of arms, etc. We all go out in public with the face we were born with. Is there something about being online that people never want to show themselves? Just wondering why some do and some do not? I guess if you were running from the law you would hide your face but I doubt we have anyone here that is. Or do we? Some religions have their woman cover their face I know. Are the people that never show themselves of that faith?
I'll like to see some of the people here because I'm a snoppy dog.

Don't mind people seeing my ugly mug, although I do change my avvy sometimes, always a pic of the Huddys on my about me page and my website

I don't care what people look like, just what they say. I find if you put a picture up, people make judgements based on that, and ignore the merit or lack thereof, of what's being said.

I also prefer to retain some slight semblance of privacy - all my contact details are readily available on the 'net, so I prefer to keep one last bastion against the nosey masses.

I use avatars showing my products - just reckon that the more people see an item, the more they are likely to remember it.
