well I contacted Virgin and they went on as if I were a complete idiot!

I am on Virgin Media and still cannot access the main site.This is the first time I have managed to get into the forum site after three attempts at logging in.
There are several fault messages also on the screen saying Fatal Error where closing auctions should be

Also on the very top right handside

I have an anxious first time buyer emailing me through my email address for my address to send his cheque to
I have to the best of my ability tried to explain to him what is happening
But this really is not good enough
I am known for my patience but it is beginning to wear thin this morning
Sadly I am not technically minded at all.The ability to run my shops and simple computer is all completely self taught from only a few years ago and all from trial and error.So trying to add numbers to my host file unfortunately is completely beyond me.I actually did try last night and not sure where I ended up!!!

Hi All,

The changes were made at 5am yesterday (London) and made public 5 seconds later. We are unable to control the level of freshness your ISP likes to keep their data at I'm afraid. But I must admit I didn't think it could go on this long, I thought they were more on the ball than that.

I do appreciate your frustrations, we are on Sky and using their DNS servers we are still unable to see our own site.

I am on Virgin and firefox and I still can't get in,how I managed to get to the forums, I don't know, In desperation I just googled ebid and pressed any button I could find relating to Ebid and finally ended up here. I am so relieved that I am not alone, I had no notification that the site was going down, and I was wondering it Ebid had closed down,What an image this is to our customers, Please at least update the message to let people know what is happening and that Ebid has not disappeared.

I am with Tiscali and not able to access ebid, have to update my hosts file.
