Thread: It might be a good idea.........

    Default It might be a good idea.........

    to back up your listings, just in case.

    For those that don't know how,
    go to My eBid - Auctions I'm Running & click on Export Listings
    go to My eBid - Auctions I ran & click on Export Listings
    while you're there click on Export Sales Data as well.

    Make sure you know where you've saved the files.

    If I do this on the first page of my auctions running will it do all of my auctions?

    When I try to save it it does it in gobbledy dutch
    How do I make it so I can read it ?

    If you save it in excel rather than notepad (or calc if you have open office) you'll be able to read it. If you find you need to upload it you'll have to change it to a .tsv file first which will make it look like it does now.

    My measly amount of listings took firefox about 1 sec to save.

    It says it is notepad but I can't read it.
    I am not that techie so any help in plain English please .
    What is tsv ?

    It's just a different format. If you could look at the page you are seeing in front of your face right now in source code, all you would see is letters , numbers and symbols. It's how the information hwy transfers data.
