URLs changing!

Everybody with links to their pages, or links to other people's pages - which is all of us who put up promotional stuff like my directory - be prepared for the whole lot to need checking and fixing.

Yes I spotted that in the newsletter earlier - and did a quite groan to myself - although I haven't got too many on my site to change over so its not to bad.

It will affect all links to everywhere - and probably the pics on our flickr accounts, squidoo lenses and everything else that we link eBid too.

Titter Sorry, wicked sense of humour. On the plus side, at least you will know how its done. Maybe a good idea for you to put a thread up once new links confirmed to help in infirm update theirs, otherwise if people have forgotton change etc we may lose traffic. Should keep you quiet for a while

That's okay, just mentioned it to youngest and he just shrugged. It will keep him occupied.

As Fair says, for those of us who know how we made the pages in the first place, it's pretty straight-forward - an edit/replace job - for anybody who struggled first time around, it's pretty poor thanks for their efforts!

Thanks for this. And ditto to those who put up the newletter (missed mine this month).

Sorry, one of the tenderfoots.... does this mean we need to change all of our signature links on here for example? and any links on Flickr or other self promotional sites? But places like your directory (Kim) you will change?
