my partner is an IT engineer and web designer... he raves about linux...

I know that Ninja Lister is available for Linux but I thought I would ask to check if it was OK, don't fancy wasting time if it aint.
Would Linux Mint run on an old laptop that is not up to running XP?

Alas just cannot find time to do anything but work, I am planning on retiring when I am 96. Then I should have time to really dig into Linux...
Linux really is a lovely OS, and gaining popularity every day, bit like eBid!
The new versions are so easy to use and if you have an older machine they really do fly on Linux. There are so many free programs for just about any need. It`s not difficult to learn or use, that's why so many media systems producers use it.
