Question Parcelforce postage surcharges for specific UK areas

    Hi there, new to eBid.

As many probably already know, Parcelforce charge extra for areas like Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, etc. What is the recommended method of notifying potential bidders/buyers that there will be a surcharge for delivering to these areas?

I keep the postage costs to what we are charged plus <£1 for packaging. With the surcharge, I would be out of pocket on each item if it is not added for those areas.

It's not something I've needed to worry about, since I only use PF once in a blue moon, but if it was a regular issue I think I'd just include a standard bit of text in my terms and conditions, shown on every listing.

The only way is to have it shown on each listing that would need Parcel Force.
My self i would use Royal Mail std parcels for areas like that or if requiring a signature the Royal Mail 48 service.

Thanks for the replies - I kind of thought that is what it would be. I do(will?) offer Royal Mail on some items, but some items travel better through anyone but them!
