Its so very sad.
I feel sorry for her.
She obviously cant cope with the pressure.
But what a voice she has.
I have said all the way through the bgt thread, I did not want her to win as i believe she had already made it,
now imho,
I think if she step away from the limelight obviously she is unable to handle it,

I thought it was her worst performance. Not a patch on when she sang it the first time.
Yes, it is sad that both the public and the media in this country take such a delight in destroying people. I can only assume it is based on envy.
I think she is capable of handling the pressures involved with being a singer. It is the hyenas from the media feeding off her following her sudden rise to fame that she has problems dealing with. I would expect most people would.
I also didn't like the reference to a 'nut house' by the OP. Was it necessary?
I personally can't stand how some people seem to take such pleasure in ridiculing and trying to pull others to shreds
Especially when it is totally undeserved
Part of the reason for her collapse is the nastiness and downright cruelty by the media
She is a very ordinary woman who happens to have a passionate singing voice,
who tried to live her dream,if only for a short while
What is so awful about that???
I wish her a speedy recovery and many happy years of singing ahead of her.
She seemed a simple soul, who couldn't understand why people were being so nasty to her.
I hope she goes on singing, and we all get to hear her once again.
And that someone in the business stands up for her and gives her some protection, from those who can only wish they had 1/2 her talent.
I think the media and fame come hand in hand, as with all the big names, each have be subjected to things that are printed about them, if it is lies or not, and some actually use the media to there advantage when they need exposure.
It would be part of her life as she rises to stardom and and also once she is up there, and as such would have to deal with it on a daily basis

I don't deny that. It just felt as though she wasn't really wanting to be there. Sort of 'OK, you've got me here but my heart isn't in it'.
She was maybe better off losing out on the first place. It will take some of the media pressure off her.
She didn't need to win on the night. She had already won after her first performance. Properly managed she will get everything she wants anyway.
It doesn't matter that some people snipe that she is not a great singer. Anybody that can take the western world by storm like that has something pretty amazing.
Yes, I thought that too. The biggest smile I saw her give that night was when they announced Diversity had won. To me she looked almost relieved not to have won. It's been a whirlwind few weeks for her - no wonder why she needs a rest, in a safe place, where the media can't get to her.
