May I ask for a seperate category under Crafts for Lacemaking?

At the moment it's tucked away in Crafts & Sewing/Sewing & Embroidery/Patterns/Lacemaking.

I suggest::

Crafts & Sewing/Lacemaking/ Bobbins
Crafts & Sewing/Lacemaking/ Equipment
Crafts & Sewing/Lacemaking/ Patterns
Crafts & Sewing/Lacemaking/ Other Lacemaking

definitely a good idea!

perhaps bobbins should be split into vintage and modern? or collectable and practical? (not sure about the "practical" - not sure it's the write word, but you know what I mean?)

Any news on this yet?

Was checking yesterday and as it stands at the moment, the category for Lace under Sewing & Embroidery is for machine-made lace yardage - fair enough. Maybe that should be changed to:

Crafts & Sewing/Sewing & Embroidery/Lace Yardage or Lace Trimming

Having made hand-made Bobbin Lace and been a Supplier of Lacemaking equipment and patterns for many years, I'm requesting a completely seperate and new category for "Lace Making" per my original post.

There is no comparison between between modern machine-made lace yardage and hand-made lace and they shouldn't be in the same category

Antique/Vintage hand-made lace, lace bobbins, lace pillows and lace patterns are another matter and are slightly covered under:

Collectables/Sewing, Fabrics & Textiles/Bobbins
Collectables/Sewing, Fabrics & Textiles/Patterns
Collectables/Sewing, Fabrics & Textiles/Fabric & textiles
Collectables/Sewing, Fabrics & Textiles/Tools, Scissors & Measures

Would like to see a reply as I have about 150 lace patterns and other lace making items to list
