Promoting eBid

I have been reading the various threads about promoting the site, all very interesting and a lot of it is way over my head.

If you want a no-cost way of advertising eBid then get Royal Mail to include a tick-box on their lost parcels claims form, as they do for the competition.

Tried ebid and crowlas tonight a few times and nothing came up in the area below. Tried boat a couple of times in case they somehow blocked the other words - but that didn't show up either! Oooh dear!

I have just had a little idea! I have entered a photo competition http://www.itsmymarket.com/photos/?photocomp=30 to try and drum up some sales and I have been adding tags to my photos such as crowlascrafts so that if enough people pop that into the search box it will show up in bold larger type in the words most used search box.

The idea: If everyone is to go onto the site and type in eBid to this box - eBid will show up in the 'most searched words' box on the front page of this competition.

As the competition only has 12 days to run, I think there maybe quite a few views of this page and it could prove to be a little free advertising!

Has anyone tried this recently??

I have been trying it but can't seem to get the words ebid to appear now - prehaps I'll try adding ebid to some of the photos I like on the site it may come up then? I don't know how this software works really so I am just experimenting! Lol!

Ebid showed in the search right by your user name! (Had to refresh once I searched Ebid!

Its working now - ebid is on the list again on the front page!
