What is the deadline date on the 80 count for you to get the £30?

Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability, and I want you to know that we are with you....

Prove me wrong and if you get past 80 within the next week I'll donate an extra £30 to Bravehearts.

So I guess we need to break through the 80 mark by midnight on the 22nd November (BST) to be within a week of the date.

As per highlighted section, he already has his doubts because we passed the 50

I have logged into this thread for my daily laugh to see the voter count has now hobbled past the 60 mark.

Well done NYKMedia - that really is a very brave effort and a remarkable achievement for a woman.

I dare say the milksops and pansies amongst some of the men on eBid could only muster a count in the mid to high 70s even given their superior intellect and wit.

Mr NYKMedia has a right to be very proud...you have shown in this day and age there is no room for outdated sexist views. Women should have access to nearly as many rights and opportunities as men (within reason - we wouldn't want them running the country or anything ) and should be appreciated more. I will be telling the light of my life that when she brings me my cup of tea after she's finished ironing my shirt.

Dear 'Toadie',

The mere fact that there IS an NYK Media should adequately reflect the fact that there is no Mr NYK Media and I am shocked that you should have been under the sad disillusion that so much could have been achieved had there been one. I do, however, agree with you that women should have access to many of the same rights and opportunities as men, but this is impossible; there simply aren't enough 'real' men around to support your belief. I choose not to proceed with this line of enquiry for fear of upsetting all those men who now play the traditional roles of women and to avoid instigating a riot amongst all those women who have accepted (through choice or otherwise) the responsibility of both providing a suitable home environment free of charge for men and children AND earning what it costs to provide same.

On a lighter note, your aspirations as a writer may, one day, lead you to your promised land from where Mrs 'light of your life' can pander to your every need, safe and secure in the knowledge that you have, indeed, provided for the future. One last query. Well, more of a guess, really, are you a Pink Floyd fan perchance?

Firstly let me apologise for the outrageous liberty I took in assuming there was a male element to the huge and rapidly expanding NYKMedia corporation. A wise old bird once told me, "Research always pays.." and sadly that's advice I didn't heed on this occasion


However, I must take exception to your assertion there's a lack of any 'real' men about when there's clearly evidence to the contrary right here on eBid. How can you bemoan the lack of decent male specimens when along with all the bargain 1NR and 60 minute (cough...like tonight...plug!) auctions there also resides this little fella:











I am sure you could pick him up for a very reasonable price, but I would advise using an Escrow service just in case the goods weren't quite what was expected when they arrive.


Its not looking too promising on the vote-o-meter I'm pleased to say. Drastic action is needed on your part I believe.

I think your only hope now is to win over the votes of our Trans-Atlantic Traders and Antipodean Auction Buddies. Perhaps offer something that would appeal to their senses like a free Burger & Fries with every vote or a lesson in how to play Rugby (although Australia received one of those quite recently anyway ).
