1 Pound No Reserve Promotion between now and Christmas

When I get a chance I'm going to add a load of auctions starting at £1 with no reserve. I'm going to get a banner ad made for the promotion and try and promote it on forums etc................anyone want to join me?

You can make the auction duration any length and can include a 'buy now' option, so it has a chance of getting on google base. Just put 1NR in the auction title and I will use this search criteria for my banner and you can set up a slide show advertising some of your auctions:

If you'r outside of the UK, you can still use the 1NR as long as you start at 1 dollar, 1 euro etc. We want to get a decent load of auctions in here to make it attractive to people to search for bargains!

Nice one! I'm going to try and work out the timing so that mine get on google base - don't really want to put them for more than 10 days, so I'll do my first few with a longer auction time and try and work out when best to add.

Great idea, ive already ran many 99p autions in in the past, including gold rings, and whilst it had little success for myself, i wish all the luck and keep up updated

I've dropped the price on some of my items so they fit the 1NR criteria.

A good idea - is this promotion just or a fixed period of time from now till Christmas? Do you have to do anything special to join in or is it just a matter of putting £1NR in the auction title?

I've linked to the 1NR search page and named the section of my site eBid1. For all those interested in promoting their items, the eBid1 page will the the one used to determine which items get featured in the monthly 'Now You Know' publication and I'll be keeping it running throughout 2008 as part of the Cyberdosh Challenge.
