    Default Retro Games...Selling advice

Hi all, I am new to Ebid, although been selling on the other one for some time now. I am selling a good selection of retro games in my ebid shop.

    http://uk.ebid.net/stores/Retro-Gaming-Heaven

But despite having several items viewed over 100 times my sales are very low, whereas on E*ay my sales were extremely good(my seller name on there is also gandresaints, if you are interested in looking).

Is there any way that I can better promote my products?

What is it that may be putting people off (in my about me page I have mentioned my very positive feedback from that other auction site, but this doesnt seem to have made much difference)

Any advice from you ebid seller experts would be much appreciated.

    Graham

Might it not be the fact that emulation is a kind of legal grey area and if people wanted that kind of thing they could easily download it?! Just what I think of course!

The major advantage with purchasing an emulation CD is the convenience of having 100s of popular games in the same place ready to play as soon as you pop the disc in to your computer. Not everyone who owned an old console necessarily knows where to download an emulator from...or how to get it set-up. Then comes the hours of trawling websites to find all the games!

For a few £s your letting someone else do all the hassle for you. Emulator software is very popular with lots of people who want to relive the classics...but don't want to pay a lot of money to buy a console or store one.

    :-):-)

Oh by the way I didn't know that Age of Empires 2 was released on PS2!!! I learn something new everyday ^_^.

Yeah its really good on the PS2 as well - but DONT buy it if you've played it on the PC because you'll just be comparing the two and for strategy games the PC will always win!!
