Changing Store Logo

Good day eBid friends. I am finally adding some great stuff to my store "Working With Wood". That is a change in my original plan for "Software Solutions". However, I can't seem to get rid of the logo for my original store idea and I want to launch the new logo for Working With Wood. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the old logo? I simply tried uploading the new logo but the old remains. There isn't any button for deleting a store logo. Help is much appreciated. Have a wonderful weekend and keep smiling!

Hi Mrshaky,

I think it may have changed but you didn't realize it.

LOOK HERE

Sometime the change doesn't show on the store config page as soon as it does as others see it.

I can see the working with wood logo too, so perhaps you just needed to refresh your browser so you aren't seeing the cached (previously saved) page. Good luck with your store and don't forget to add a link in your signature using the User CP at top left of this page

I thank all for responding. I don't understand it. On my computer the old logo is still there when I go to my config. page and also when I simply log onto my own store front. I have logged in and out many times since and refreshed until my fingers bleed (lying-LOL). My new (temporary) logo shows a wooden case, a square and a yellow level, but from every view at my end, the old logo still exists. I am glad you all are seeing the proper one.

Repegg....good day. I just clicked the "LOOK HERE" link you placed in your reply. As always, the old "Software Solutions" logo still shows on my store at my end. I am sure you are correct when you say you see the new logo, but I wouldn't mind seeing it myself. LOL

try holding down the Ctrl button on the keyboard when you refresh.
(hold down Ctrl hit f5 on your keyboard)

Here is the logo I am seeing -- if it is not what you are seeing might try to type Mrshaky in the "Start New Search" (at the top left of the page near the eBid logo) choose "Search Username" from the drop down box to the right of it and see if that will let you see it.

If that doesn't work might try going to another browser and do it again.

Ropegg:....very strange. The logo you have posted is the OLD logo on my computer....."Software Solutions. This is darn weird. My new logo is "Working With Wood". I have refreshed in the manner Gothicina has suggested. No change. Ropegg, I assume the logo you posted for me to view in the NEW one - "Working With Wood". In your post, I see "Sofware Solutions". I think this is one I should bounce off the webmaster. Better let him wake up first. I wonder what time it is in the U.K.

I have one more idea -------

Go the where your pic is being uploaded from and completely change the name leaving the .jpeg or .gif ending and upload it to your store config page again and see if that will force the change. Changing the name should make yours work --- I THINK.

Remember to check the store as others see it even if it hasn't changed on the config page yet.
