Run Until Sold

I had a thought, I have all the items in my store set to Run Until Sold with a BN. I am getting lookers but not a lot of sales. I am wondering if people are looking and then saying to themselves I'll get that later there is no hurry.

I'm wondering if it would be better to run them with a set time and auto repost.

Guess it's time to do some experimenting.

That could be the case, but you would probably be better making your listings have a fixed time-span. The reason for this is that as they count down to expiry they will be shown on the front page. You can list auctions at 3, 7 or 10 day durations, with up to 10 automatic relistings.

With the run untill sold option the only way people get to see your item is by either clicking into your store or searching for that item.

Also if you haven't done it yet, if you ask Nykmedia nicely she will include your stores in her publicity.

I didn't think about it showing on the front page as it gets close to expiring, good point!

I have listed the last several items with 10 days and auto repost to see what happens.

I have talked to Nykmedia, and should be listed with her.
