Getting vistors to eBid

Looked at my website site stats this morning and they are nine times what I normally get so this would indicate this does work,the more of us that do this and specify our eBid URL the more traffic we can drive to eBid. must say that it wasn't me who found this it was Pheebay, so thanks to them.

I have finally got some hits to my store using this method. The thing that crosses my mind is that everyone doing is doing the same thing that we are, clicking, reading forums or whatever and then clicking again. So is it really sending good traffic to the site or just inflating the numbers? I do agree that it is getting eBid's name in front of more people.

The landing page on ours stores is pretty static, it just shows a list of the items that we have for sale in alfabetical order. If we had the option to have featured items or maybe the landing page showed new listings, I think this would be a great improvement.

People are going to see it even if it is only for a second or two so must be better than not seeing it at all, and as you say alerts people to the fact that ebid exists.

I agree at least they will see the eBid name and the more that know about it the better it will be for all of us.

I've been on pheebay lately and they do have some interesting information on there, seen you name a couple of time, well really your picture signature.

We've been trying this for about a week now and have gotten 191 hits from hits4u. I am not allocating all my clicks to hits at this time. I started at 20 per day and then increased it to 25.

I have a sub domain store.partsanthings.com on my web site which goes directly to my eBid store using iFrame.

By making some of my listings expire and then reposting it shows those 1st so the items on the main store page chages almost daily.

It eill be interesting to see what happens in Sept when for the most part vacations are over and hopefully more people will be on the internet.

Just a quick question regarding hits - are you talking hits or unique visitors?

In my case I have webalizer with my site and I'm looking at Top 30 of 100 Refers and it shows http://www.easyhits4u.com/surf.cgi with 191 hits. SO I guess Hits

My webalizer thingy seems to be stuck in the past but looking at Awstats...August was up on previous months with 648 Unique Visitors,3021 Hits,828 Visits,United States is top for number of visits, Thursday's seem to have more visitors than other days on average to my listings.
