Thread: can anyone identify the maker of this vase?

    Question can anyone identify the maker of this vase?

    I have attached a couple of photos of a small but beautifully formed porcelain vase. It has a back stamp that I cannot make out or have ever come across. just wonder if any one can help with the identifcation and any other details please

    I know nothing about pots....but could the mark be Pint. A Mano.

    I am sure I've seen something about pots with that link somewhere.

    Or I could be totally off track...

    my Spanish is not very good, but if it does say pint a mano, doesn't that just mean hand painted? Any Spanish peeps out there?

    pintado a mano is painted by hand and would be spanish a mano depinto is painted by hand in italy. The signiture would be the name of the artist, is it tag or tas or something like that on the front.

    yes, on the front of the vase is hand painted initials that look like either tos or toj, do you know any more about this then?

    thanks, but i know what it is and that it would not be of much value. I purchased this for myself and would be just interested to know the maker & origin
