I've added another auction for the small keyrings.

    Hi all!

Where do we stand on the use of the eBid logo etc? (I can't find the thread about it now, - is written permission required, or is it 'informal' at present).

I may be able to sort some CD-type clocks out (at a special 'lower-than-normal' price), if it's allowed, and if anyone is interested, to give out to good customers, with something like:-

"Join the eBid Online Auction revolution....
....the feepayers are revolting!" (or similar) on .

(Open to suggestions, but no rude ones please, I've had a hard day).

The Sellers Store name, logo and/or URL etc. could probably be put on too.

    Best wishes, Simon.

I take that as "permission granted", but you might like to check with them to be 100% sure.

    Many thanks for that!

I'll contact Gazza when I get a chance.

    Best wishes, Simon.

Just wondering how many people will be prepared to go to that much expense for a give-away item. I know that large corporations do, but eBid sellers?

Would make a great YDC item, though.

Yes I know what you mean. It may be OK for repeat Customers, depending on price. For example if you are still selling on feepay, and you have a regular Customer 'over there', who buys several items (or spends a lot of money), it may be good to pop an 'eBid-related' clock in with their order, to act as an incentive to have a look at eBid.

I thought after I'd found out if it was OK with Gazza etc. (which I'll do Monday), I'd get the lowest price possible/practical (as long as the clock movement is good), and then see if anyone's interested, - and take it from there really. I'm not too worried about making a profit (or much of one ) on these particular items, but thought it may help with promotion.

I thought of another cheeky slogan yesterday. "eBidders do it for very low fees!" or "eBidders do it for next-to-nothing!."

What is a YDC item? I know it's something to do with charities, but beyond that I'm not sure. Sounds interesting, could you let me know?

    All the best, Simon.

It took a bit of searching to find the address, but click the link for all the info.

I didn't realise that it was Yorkie's Daft Challenge; I thought it was Your Designated Charity. As the takings go to charity.

By the way, has Yorkie jumped ship? I've not heard of him for a long time.
