Hi, new here & taking a brake from trying to figure out how-to fix my non properly working eBid listing editor (scrambles everything during "review" to "submit").

I have already printed the eBid page of logos to promote the site that I have found on another thread. I plan to put one in every package that I ship, but they will also have written a Coupon Discount $$ applicable to future purchases... valid for using at one of my stores within this site only.

Quite a few people here have produced some very nice downloadable promotional stickers etc to use for making ebid better known, but isn't it about time we had a "promote ebid" or "promote my ebid store" section in My Ebid?

I've just been taking a look at the iBootSales site, where there are all sorts of banners, links and flyer printouts available to promote the site - couldn't we have something similar here?

Or do we already have it and I haven't found it yet? I know about the things in this thread.

I'm not sure where you're suggesting the section would lead to from "my ebid"? What's going to be in there? Are you saying ebid should take over producing all the stuff the rest of us have put together until now?

I think they are suggesting that it is not so much forum dependent, as we all know that a lot of people do not use forums.

So maybe ebid could upload all the stuff to a page that shows up in the site, rather than the forum.

It could still be added to in here but the quality ones get added to the main page. It would also allow for some quality control.

Some stuff is available such as the logo in message #1 of this thread, banners at http://meetup.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=96032 (though admin could do with editing it to correct the image URLs pointing to the old servers).

I think they'd get nervous about endorsing things that way. It could also be a fair bit of work maintaining it, checking the quality as you say, and they'd need to give credit to everybody who'd worked on it... it gets a lot more complicated if it's formal or official. Then there's all the customers they'd offend by telling them their offerings weren't good enough.
