NYK I myself have been busy promoting ebid, the dobie has had long walks & ive posted in over 400 leaflets to peeps houses, Ive been to boot sales & given away about 100 leaflets & loads of ebid shopping bags FREE even though I paid for them myself. Ive been to Tescos & Sainsburys & whilst walking to the store ive placed leaflets on peeps windscreens. I havent finished yet. Ive even promoted ebid by getting rid of some ebid bags on FREE CYCLE Bedford, and anything I have offered on FREE CYCLE Bedford. Ive put some leaflets in the items too.
So ive been very busy & havent stopped, soon as weather picks up il be doing some more. Ive got peeps coming over tomoz and will be handing them some leaflets. Im off out tomoz as well picking up items from garden center & whilst Im walking round il hand out more leaflets. Ink is running low so I will have to get more. LOL

Is that good enough for now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rofl

Cockie, you really have been busy, that is fantastic!

Did anyone spot the eBid banner showing up front page of the Racing Post website? I thought that was rather cool, especially as eBid is home to the biggest racing bookshop since err... talking them into moving it here.

PS: Racing Post was using Doubleclick, which has now been acquired by Google, so don't all rush off wondering which eBid advertising campaign you have missed.

Default Are there still as many ambitious sellers about?

I just thought that I'd give this thread a little bump to find out how many are still involved in the ambitious sales drives we had last year (or newcomers who'll be interested this year). It's already into the summer sales season, schools are out, money is in high demand from all sides and eBid is looking like it's getting ready to take on the world, so... what's everyone doing to drive their sales higher and what is selling best?

I know that jewellery and craft items are always favourites here, but I'd really like to see more stats like 'top searches', 'most watched items' and 'top selling items'. I'd also like a few ideas for what type of sales challenges we can begin organising for the run up to Christmas - it's 5 months today, that's like, less than 22 weeks, or, to be exact, only 153 days!! (Dashes off to check pressie budget and post a few 'favourite searches' into my eBid.)
