Thread: my space bulletin

  1. #1

    Default my space bulletin

I just sent out a bulletin on my space with the following

    Fee free auctions, available worldwide!!!!!!!!!

At least a few should click on the link in the image and find us here!
I'm going to keep applying to be "friends" with people and post bulletins every week!
Anyone else care to do the same??

    Hiya !
That's a very good idea, especially if you have a lot of friends. But be careful not to do it more than once a week. I know that some MySpace users take exception to being bombarded with bulletins too often and can be sensitive to what they construe as "spam".

Yes! I get loads of spam!
I would only do it weekly or fortnightly.

I would have thought no more than once a month, else it could have the reverse effect.

I didn't even know there was a Myspace Business forum, or any forum for that matter.

    Hi all!

Corrine, after a bit of a delay I've managed to get my 'MySpace' page up-and-running. I've been having login problems, but downloaded the new version of MySpace IM and logged in okay like that. (Taken me ages to fill in all the info . Not necessary I realise, but quite addictive once you get started! )

Anyway, you asked me to let you know the URL when I'd done it. It's
    http://www.myspace.com/rupert691

How do I join your eBid group? And....(this sounds really daft ) can I be your friend? (Not sure how the 'friends' thing works, but if I can be anyone's friend, or if anyone want's to be my friend, just let me know, (and let me know what I have to do, LOL!) Hopefully it will help spread the word of eBid. (Things were much simpler in 1907! )

    Best wishes, Simon.

Your page looks great and all that stuff about Hypercubes is fascinating. I tend to think of the 4th dimension as the realm of the imagination and the spirit - where you can "visualize" things into existence but hypercubes present the 4th dimension as an actual spatial dimension in the physical world. (unless I've read it wrong?) Are you a mathematician by any chance? I'd like to read that story you mentioned.

And yes, I wanna be your friend too. lol

Oh - and I can't invite you to join the group till you've added me to your friends list (your settings are set that way)

Hi Corrine, Many thanks for your kind comments.

Yes you've got it right about the Hypercubes. I find them incredible, but the more you find out about them, the harder they can be to understand! LOL! Nope, I'm not a mathematician (unfortunatley), - it was one of my worst subjects. I much prefer Literature, but it's the scientific side of the 4th dimension that interests me. I don't understand it all, but it is an interesting concept.

Robert Heinlein's "- And he Built a Crooked House" is really very interesting if you like this sort of thing. It may be found here:-

Many thanks for the friend request, (and thanks to you too Ken, much appreciated), will now figure out what I have to do next.

Will pop back if I have any problems..... LOL!

Thanks again, Simon. (Wasn't really born in 1907).
