Thread: Improve Ebid - Be Realistic With Your Collectables

Well, once we get it into storage it's not a problem. We do have the luxury of waiting until the right buyer finds us. We've tried to do pretty much what you're suggesting, but pricing unique items is a problem. What we've learned is that there's a buyer for almost everything, no matter how strange, as long as it is old and in reasonably good condition! We sold a few things that we almost threw away, like a plastic St. Judes medallion (but it was in the original packaging), a really battered WWI gas mask, a scratched Mardi Gras doubloon (have no idea where that came from!), miniature labels for raisins (we have more, they'll get here eventually).

The only things that would lend themselves to lot sales are the coins and stamps, and those are not a problem because they don't take up much room. We did try lot sales of the souvenir wine tasting glasses on GreedBay, no buyers, so we're listing them here individually for about $1 less than they cost at the wineries. They're all in storage so I don't care now how long it takes.

Well the best to you Tia:
Sounds like you are going to be busy for some time, but if time is not an issue it doesn't really matter.
