Any googlebase experts out there who know?

you can get that from Auctions I'm Running - export listings, in IE it saves it as a text file which you can then import into excel, the good thing about that is you can choose which fields you want to import.
So you can save everything as a full backup of your listings, but can also save another file with what you need for googlebase.

I've got that far but I'm unsure what fields I actually need for googlebase,
I've found that the google instructions are not very clear.

No you cannot get that info from exporting listings. For Google Base you need url for each auction. Export Listings does not give us our items url link.

Export listings basically gives us what we submitted to ebid via bulk spreadsheet in a .txt format. Which we already have.

2. Googlebase or Google Products as it is now called is available to UK sellers who add a buynow price to their auctions depending on the closing date of their auctions.

I think it is only for UK sellers and then only if they are using the buynow option.

I had a look on google base did'nt find any eBid stuff yet.

I can't find my stuff on googlebase/google product search, it used to be there, I've tried a couple of searches & checked the first 10 pages, very few people will dig lower than that.
I searched for Auction Templates (it's a fairly small category so brings up fewer results)
I've tried googlebase UK & only got stuff from bay & bar
on googlebase US got stuff from bay, crater, ostock, tam, ioff, bjay,hbid
nothing from eBid at all.

I tried searching for Derek Tangye (not a popular author so again not too many results)
UK obviously the big bookshops only bay & bar as auction listings no sign of my listing on eBid.
US big bookshops plus bay

Google have obviously changed something which has meant that the eBid uploads are no longer working.

Just did a search for one of my items on Google Base and here is what I found

Evening all!

It's slightly embarrassing when I search for some of my items on 'Google (Products)'.

I just searched for 'Historic Posters Gothic', and some of my items are showing........ but not on eBid!

Yet when I conduct the same search on 'Google (Web)', my eBid ones are there.

Am wondering why ?

Any ideas anyone?

Hi Simon,
maybe the timing was wrong for the latest upload for google products,
the good news is google is picking them up well.
In this post Gazza gave the times & other requirements.
