I think she said she will list the items via the Ebid Buy It Now system - so basically the list is a pledge to buy I suppose. But then again, how is she going to get the items done if she doesn't have the money from all of us?
Maybe she intends to list them as BINS, then we buy and then we'll have to wait a week or so for them to be done.

The pens that will be offered by NYKMedia, who is footing the bill with good faith in the fact that the sellers involved in this joint promotion will support the campaign, will be white pens with black lids and black ink. Most documentation nowadays requires completion in black ink and there's nothing worse than not knowing what colour pen you have lifted without having to scribble on something first. The print, for obvious reasons, will say -
Now You Know about www.eBid.net
The exact price will be dependent on how many pens someone orders and equates to 11p per pen plus delivery, regardless of whether you order 10, 50 or 100. P&P will be charged at cost.
We are talking about legitimate business transactions here, so every financial transfer costs money somewhere, whether it be cheques, BACS, PPPay, PayPal or PayPoint (which I also accept).
No money will be charged until the items are in my possession and available for sale. All 'Now You Know about www.eBid.net' merchandise offered by NYK Media will be deemed to be OFFICIAL.
The above is my final offer. I am paying initial costs, therefor I am running the risk of being left with hundreds of pens. This is to avoid any incidence of potential rule breaking, which anyone may be doing by offering items for sale that are not available at time of listing.
Does anyone want to retract their original offers to purchase the pens purely on the grounds of the words "Now You Know about" preceding www.eBid.net?

Thanks for that info, I meant to respond sooner but the thread had moved on so quickly by the time I got back here that I'm just catching up now. I had already spoken to Adler when they happened to call here last week. I have used their pens before but this is a different kind of promotion - I think this is more about getting new people to log on here and find out what it is all about - hopefully they will not be disappointed.

Hi nyk,
Sounds fine to me. I know you're not collecting money up-front, but the list is still useful as a guide as to how many to order I believe - so no wastage.
