eBid Merchandise

Does eBid produce or distribute any form of merchandise?

The following are what I have seen mentioned in various forums and think the advertising / merchandise ideas warrant a thread of their own

Printed pens
Keyrings
Fridge Magnets
Bookmarks
Coasters
Pencils
Beer mats
Mousemats
Tee shirts
Bags
Mugs
Bumper stickers
Window stickers
Any other stickers
Badges
Customised jewellery (I have the eBid necklace )
Dashboard 'toys'
Diaries
Memo pads
Postcards
Rulers

Please suggest other items of merchandise to add to this list and leave a note of any that anyone already offers. It would also be interesting to know how many people would be prepared to spend their own cash solely promoting eBid, as opposed to their own stores.

There is no point in promoting eBid to existing eBidders - we are already here. We need this merchandise distributed to potential newcomers. Perhaps eBid management could look towards investing in a few hundred pounds worth of inexpensive merchandise and then providing it to those who are generating verified Silver & Platinum sign ups for them?

if people were to buy i would but at moment things are slow here and over there i need to do 5 more booties before i am into a decent profit and thats only if i make enough on the day

Thanks for that merlin_man, your comments are appreciated. We need good, honest opinions about who is prepared to fund what, and to the tune of how much. It would be a total waste of anyone's money to go to the expense of ordering or producing merchandise that wasn't going to be distributed.

What would really help is if the management would provide a range of official images and phrases which can be used on items produced by eBidders.

If we are to make our own items it would be good to know we're using the correct logos etc.

i`m willing to stick some cash but not a fortune you would need at least 100 per person if you can get others to order enough then i`m in

I've been on the site and priced 1000 pens, which is £105.75 (There is a £30 +vat set-up fee), so 10 people would need to pay approximately £13 each to cover all the costs involved.

I have estimated postage & packaging weights at 500g+ posting by second class packet post as I doubt 100 pens would fit through the large letter slot at post office.

i might be able to manage that but would send cheque lol if people want this then maybe if they do not want to contribute they could atleast purchase something small from us and then they are contributing in another way

i'll help in any way i can, if it's any help at the moment i have about 30 blank keyrings lying around, however i have a dodgy printer
