    Question Uploading a store banner

    Having read and digested the info on uploading a store banner most carefully It will not happen for me for love nor money.
    Yes its 310mm x 90mm: Yes its a jpg: Yes its on my hard drive. It is 29k in size. Yes it goes in the upload bar, but does it appear NO. Can any one help me on this as I am slowly losing the will to live. Thanks

    The size is in pixels, not mm.

    Both of you:
    reply to this message and either attach the banners you are trying to use or give me a web link to them. I'll have a look and see if I can spot the problem.

    I'm surprised that you managed to get it to work.
    That image shows as 96 pixels high - that is 6 pixels more than the limit.

    Your image looks oddly stretched because it wasn't wide enough to fit the space provided. As a comparison you can use this image to see how an unstretched bear would look.

    EDIT: Oh, yes. I've also removed the eBay image mark from his paw.

    If you have auctions already running, you need to edit them one by one and look for the box toward the top which says whether to show in your store or not. There you can choose which store (if you have more than one) and which category to put each item.

    In future auctions you'll obviously need to fill this in when you write the auction description.

    Next thing you need to do is add a link to your store in your forum signature - so we can all see your stuff.

    Go to USER CP (top left, on the blue bar) and look down the left side for EDIT SIGNATURE.

    Follow the information shown in the attached image to create your link.
    Use your web address as shown here:
    http://uk.ebid.net/stores/BLUENOSEBEARS
