Sponsored Links appearing alongside Search Results - The Dark Side

Has anyone else noticed that E**y have introduced Sponsored links in search results!!?? I just found out about it in the U.S. forums on the thread under E**y stores - Search this Right Now.

So, it's not just a list of E**y items that comes up in a search now, items from Amazon and other marketplaces appear on the same page as your E**y listings.

This is true for both the US sites and U.K. sites

I hadn't noticed that, but I did do a search on .uk earlier (488 items found) & the first 2 pages were dominated by items from the USA & Thailand, when I made sure it said UK only, it was still dominated by the USA, so I gave up.
I wasn't intending to buy anything anyway, but I do search over there for research & price comparisons.
