Does anyone here play Yahoo games? If so can you help me?

HI, In between listing books and looking after my own website I play Yahoo games! Have done so for a couple of years now.

About a week ago I suddenly found that each time I logged in the my machine slowed down, started to hum, and when I looked at the Properties I saw that IE was using 98% of my capacity to play the game. When I exited the game it went back to normal.

So...........I decided it was Java that was taking up the space and emailed them - they said it was Yahoo.

Yahoo don't reply to emails but can anyone tell me if they have experienced this problem and, if so, what have you done to rectify it?

everyone who plays yahoo games sometimes gets a bad lag comp slows to crawl esp on their site maybe it`s the servers

i`m probably the one who swears at you alot on there lol

It's not quite the same as the usual lag which I know happens. This is constant and as I said my PC hums! I know that Microsoft and Java are having a row and Microsoft won't be updating Java and wondered if that was the problem. I think I need to download the latest Java to overcome it.

So YOU are the one who swears at me ? It can get pretty heated in there - I either swear back or just ignore it - depends on what you play I think :}

Me too merlin_man!! Plus Pool!!!!!! You get all sorts in the Pool rooms. But I am hooked on canasta in particular.

Just lately my pool cue has started splitting in half and the balls react to being hit about 30 seconds after I hit them!!!!!!!! Now that's not lag - that's graphics problems . I used to play 5 second games, now I have to play 30 second minimum!
