Online book sales in general

Congratulations Kedo! This is certainly encouraging news and the info relating to the 'non-fiction' is certainly true. Someone I introduced to eBid from the other side has quit over there completely and is fairly pleased with 25 sales this year so far. Bost of these, I might add, have been from regular customers from 'the other side' who have followed the seller across here. The store is picking up so much here that it's featured in 'Now You Know' newsletter in a comparison. The eBid store is fast on it's way to listing more items on here than the entire category has across the way. So it can only keep getting better. I've made my first sale from my new store but haven't come close to listing everything yet. Fun, all the same

not sure why ...but my sales have gone down since the revamp

gonna spend a few hours listing some more stuff , promoting ebid and my store a bit over the weekend and try to get the sales to roll in a bit

Hopefully sales will pick up a bit and cheer me up during filling in tax returns lol

Any improvement with the book sales anyone? May seems to be a particularly low book month according to some of the folks I've been speaking to elsewhere. Any thoughts on this, as I had another wacky idea for promoting LOL

Been transferring books over from Fees by the Bay & am getting no results over here. Hope am not putting all my eggs into a bad basket. Just no sales. Very discouraging.

I have sold 2 fiction books, one HB and one PB and 3 old books about birds in the past 2 months and I must have around 100 books amoung other things...
I am not sure that will help you... I agree that the more you can put here the more chances you have to sell. I would probably try to sample a bit of everything if I was you.

Hello osceolabul (Richard - just looked at your 'all about page'), I think the simple truth is that Ebid has kicked off rather faster in the U.K. than in the U.S. this year. I'd hang in there though because I think you're about to be joined by a lot of ex Yahoo sellers. It's likely that the increased number of listings on Ebid U.S./Canada will start to draw in more customers for you.

At least in the UK, books seem to do well in the run up to Summer holidays.
