    Smile New Sub-category For Jewellery

As a lot of people prefer to buy handmade items these days it would be a good idea if we had a handmade section in the jewellery listings this way customers would be able to cut out all the shop bought jewellery and go straight to what they want

It would be great to have a category for jewellery you've made yourself and this was suggested a few weeks ago.

It seemed to fizzle out as no-one came up with a title that wouldn't be flooded by imported Indian and Peruvian items.

"Home-made" was suggested but it didn't seem very popular. It kind of has connotations of what you made with your 5 year-old on a rainy afternoon.

I'm not suggesting that your jewellery looks like that, I'm just saying that "home-made" was the best title anyone could come up with last time and that it wasn't popular for the above reason.

I really hope you can come up with something that conveys both the quality of the article and that the person selling it also made it.

    Good luck.

Why Cannot The Sub-categorie Be........ " Handcrafted Jewellery",.......that Then Tells People It Is Handmade Without Looking Mumsy And Childish.
Have A Think About That Because If That Was There I Would Certainly Look Under That Heading For Handmade Items

As I pointed out earlier in this thread, 'hand-crafted' does not just apply to items that the seller has made themselves; it also covers the majority of items imported from Peru, India, Tibet, Malasia, Indonesia, Thailand etc..

How about hand crafted by seller? that way the catergory would not be flooded with imports
