Well I think they are making it up as they go along, you cannot sit in the garden with a friend or relative because they might need to use the toilet but you can have absolute strangers come and look around your house if you have it up for sale.
Err I think my head is hurting
I live in the middle of nowhere with only a few sheep as neighbours so I don't hear anything. It started out as clapping but banging pots and pans and playing instruments is getting a bit silly. I have family that work for the NHS and they don't really get it either lol
Love that!
You have two sets of people, the idiots who don't care and do what they want, and those that are trying their best to follow the most convoluted rules ever devised. It's a no win situation.
Parliament is to return without social distancing in June. So its a case of do as I say not do as I do!!!!
Dominic's trip to Durham is another example of do what I say not what I do.
In the meantime, how is it that care homes are still struggling to access tests but Premier League football clubs can test their players TWICE a week???
I'm still shaking! I've just driven to a service station to have my car serviced and MOT'd. It felt just as it did the first time I drove alone after passing the driving test about 60 years ago!! Of course, I've been "shielded" for many weeks! Why did they call it "shielding"? I was simply kept in!!! So I am wondering whether or not there'll be an increase in accidents this week. I was very careful of course and thinking of every manoeuvre - and wondering about the idiocy around me again! You know - no signal, or signal with wrong road positioning, racing to beat the lights, etc...
A neighbour was kind enough to fetch me home and will return me so that I may empty my bank account at the dealer's!
Never mind - with the "Owl of the Remove" in charge, all will be ok, I'm sure!
The advice to contact your local authority if you need help with childcare is, as I suspected, hopeless. One friend, who has a social worker anyway because of her son's special needs, was told that, should she fall ill, her 14 year old can look after her and her younger children. Another friend of a friend ended up in hospital herself and her daughter? The Children's ward although she was not ill.
