I don't think emphasising Free is the way to go because folk would think it was a con, and in any case it isn't totally free, you need to emphasise the buy and sell and friendly.

Trouble is Ken that's the selling point!

I like your last one, particularly the 'we bid on ebid' bit. it's catchy- and memorable- which is what a tagline should be, plus i think it would get new users curios to visit the site
