I don't recall seeing that list as quoted - perhaps it has been changed?
UK law should have no bearing on US transactions
By that vague list, even wool, down or feathers are prohibited

your US transactions are taking place on a UK site therefore UK law is in affect... the same as when I sell on a US website I am bound by US law

Hello all. I believe it has to do with the fact most countries have different rules and regulations on the sale and purchase of animals hides etc. In recent years it's also a tool for law enforcement to try and slow down the slaughter of endangered species also.

Can anyone come up with ONE country which prohibits trade in whitetail deer heads?

A blanket prohibition on all animal parts is absolutely ridiculous

I hope they start pulling that wool

A quick google search brought up alot on the subject. I do remember when the UK farms were totally wiped out by mad cow disease control. Who could blame them for being over protective now? Seems like some whitetail deer are getting diseased from the little I read. Also some one was charged when they bought a mount which was taken illegally.

"I do remember when the UK farms were totally wiped out by mad cow disease control. "

You certainly phrased that right! They 'were wiped out by control', not by disease. Wiped out by over-reaction.

Hello. I'm neither pro or against your sales. I'd rather see an animal used in some way rather than wasted if it's dead. I just know there is alot of grief with customs. Anytime I took my coach across the USA/Canada border I could not even take potatoes and they cleaned out my steak horde. (bet they had a good barbecue that night)
