I don't get about much down here, as my car is in the New Forest at my boyfriend's place. So either I have to be able to get there by bus, or I have to drag the motorhome out of storage... you can imagine this slows me down! I do need to investigate getting to more places on the bus network, and that definitely includes Lostwithiel... so maybe I'll have that sussed by September!

I buy and sell vintage postcards - but collect some postcards of Silloth in Cumberland and also Arradon in Brittany (Morbihan region no. 56) in France. The Silloth cards I am after feature shots of the horses on the green, circa 1960-1963. Sounds weird I know, but there we go! LOL!!

I collect cards from several neighbouring Sussex villages..... Ticehurst, where I was born and my parents lived the majority of their life up until my mother's death earlier this year, I also collect the two neighbouring villages of Flimwell and Stonegate.

I now live in Etchingham and have a large collection of cards of the village, my family has connections in Hurst Green, Burwash and Wadhurst, so collect cards from those villages.
I used to have a postcard collection covering general topographical, but have now reduced this to just cards of local interest.
I have been a collector of postcards and philatelic items for over fifty years, in that time I have accumulated a lerge quantity of surplus items, i am now gradually adding these to my eBid stores.

Hi all, I'm not really a postcard collector but I picked up a lot recently and have some listed in my Memorabilia Mad shop. Many are from the Cumbria area but no Silloth I'm afraid but I'll keep my eyes open next time I'm down there.

When we were kids my brother and I collected postcards. Hit or miss as they were available. My brother thought they meant more if they were new and clean in appearance. I thought they meant more if they were written on. So...needless to say the debate has lasted a lifetime and we shop very well together knowing who was going to buy what.

My collecting needs are very specific - postcards drawn by George Studdy (G.E. Studdy) which include those of Bonzo. I'm more interested in the advertising and non-Bonzo cards however, because my collection (of over 1300 cards) contains almost all of the known Bonzo cards - but there are a few missing, particularly occasion (birthday, Christmas etc) cards. The collection extends further to all printed ephemera, games, toys etc, in fact pretty much anything related to Studdy.

The Bonzo cards are well colleted, I havent seen much ephemera relating to G.E.Studdy, we carry quiet a large quantity of eph, am sorting some at present as we have a big fair in February at Shepton Mallet, its postcards & paper collectables.

As for cards written on or not seems to varey some collectors that Ive none for years will only collect if they have a message on the back, others are the opposite. also of couarse it then open ups another field postmarks.
