Smile What Postcards Do You Collect ?

In order to benefit the postcard dealers on this site could postcard buyers possibly consider letting us all know on this link what type of postcards they collect.

    Hello

The postcards that I buy for my own collection are usually those of areas, I have lived in (mainly Suffolk) to a lesser extent places I have visited. My wife collects Christmas postcards, topo from were she was born and any that she likes the look of.

If you want to unload your excess Suffolk postcards, I'm your man!

As a seller I have sold all types from WW1 , world topograpical, glamour, comic etc but now I generally stick to UK topographical postcards.

For anyone interested, I closed my eBay shop (330 items) this week and will transfer more items to eBid soon.

Hi Ted, and welcome to EBID. with the recent site revamp we've all been visiting the top half the the forums and neglected this part!. I used to collect postcards when i was a child, I'm trying to break my collecting habits- and have a selling habit instead . Not sure if I have any Suffolk cards amingst mine , although my brother lives in Claire- so i might turn up one or two

    I collect old glamour postcards

I do not mean nudie ones, though I do have some of those.

My preference is for old part coloured cards, pretty ladies, sweetheart theme, www1 (not war scenes, cards that would have been sent to girlfriends etc). Also some of the early black and white actress cards. Plus anything that is a little unusual.- silk cards etc.

    Thumbs up

I collect the MABEL LUCIE ATTWELL PICTURE POSTCARDS They are nearly all, Postally used.
I was thinking of mounting them behind glass. They are so colourful and always a talking point.

    Default I collect...

    Hi to All,
As a new seller and hopefully buyer on eBid I like what I see. I collect postcards of all kinds although I do have a soft spot for Art cards. I am just setting up my store and I am adding more items every day. Although I ship wordwide being in Canada will probably not make me the most popular seller but my prices are good and who knows things may pick up here in Canada. I also had a 100% feedback at that other place using the same name.

    Mos,
I know this is an old thread.
I collect cards of several Dutch towns - Dordrecht, Delft, Sliedrecht, Dubbeldam, Rotterdam.
You currently have a Dordrecht card up for sale, but I already have several of that view.
If you got any others give me a shout.
